Can you speak to the risk if vaccines are not stored properly?

Jon Weiner then asked (summarized): To follow up, those people who received that vaccine have now been told to get more vaccines, to get re-vaccinated, and ultimately get a third dose. There are a lot of questions about safety. Do you believe that it is safe for people to get a third vaccine if the first vaccine that they got was not validated?
Dr. Murthy (summarized) response: I'd have to understand the particulars of that case in Colorado Springs, and unfortunately I am not familiar with the specific incident or the details around it, although I'd be happy to get into that. ... If people have questions about what is being recommended they should ask their doctors. If doctors have questions they should direct those to their state health authority and the CDC if required. ...
